錯落有致的琴 弦清響掀起一場六十分鐘不停頓的光影詩意。從《千章掃》的琵琶獨奏開始，「無極樂團」以起伏延綿的書法意味，把音樂化為飛動的跡線，幾經不同樂曲的遷變流 轉，直達氣勢磅礡的水墨狂筆「十面埋伏」結束。「無極樂團」用阮琴及琵琶作主要樂器，致力培養團員的文化涵養及藝術心靈。除禪坐、京劇、舞蹈及書法為平日 的基本功課外，演出時全部背譜，配合變化多端的現代舞台效果，發揮自由靈活的演奏形態，為中樂打開新路向。

無極樂團
「無極」是指可永續發展，無邊無界限的意思。
樂團追求創新，以風格領路，從2003年成立以來，致力為本土年青音樂家鋪墊演藝平臺，培養文化涵養及藝術心靈。用阮琴及琵琶作交流媒介，再配合現代舞台 效果，加入裝置等，以全面發揮自由靈活的多元媒體演奏形態。為培養高度的藝術修為及文化涵養，團員都以禪坐、京劇、舞蹈及書法為平日的基本功課。樂團積極 計劃不同類形的演出及活動，務求發揮樂團的無限可能性、可變性、多元性及前瞻性。

An orderly disarray of sharp crystalline sounds from the strings unveils a 60-minute poetic journey into light and sound. Beginning with a pipa solo in A Thousand Sweeps, the Wuji Ensemble highlights the continuous undulating flow of calligraphy and turn music into flying trajectory paths, which move, migrate and change through different music compositions and reach the majestically powerful ending of the wild and unrestrained ink-and-wash brush strokes manifested in the final piece Ambush from Ten Sides. The plucked string ruan and pipa are the main musical instruments used by the Wuji Ensemble. The Ensemble emphasizes the nurturing of cultural, spiritual and artistic attainments of its members. Apart from basic daily practices such as meditation, Peking Opera training, dancing and calligraphy, the Ensemble members are required to memorise all the music scores during performance and to adapt to the ever-changing contemporary theatrical effects to bring about a free and dynamic style of performing, unfolding a new direction for Chinese music.

Wuji Ensemble
“Wuji” in Chinese means “boundless”, “endless” and “continuously evolving”.

“Innovation” and “a strong stylistic identity” are the credo of Wuji Ensemble. Founded in 2003, the group has been dedicated to creating a performing platform for local musicians. As for the programming and performing formats, a multimedia performance is therefore given a free rein. Members of the Ensemble follow a regular regimen that includes meditation, Peking Opera training, dance and calligraphy. Wuji Ensemble has been organizing and presenting a diverse number of performances and activities since its inception, in order to fully explore the Ensemble’s potential, flexibility, diversity and visionary outlook.
